In the process of sifting fine quartz sand or silica sand, we usually suggest users to consider our AF model gyratory sifter instead of linear vibrating sieve. Because the gyratory screener has a high screening accuracy and larger output than common rectangular vibrating separator. It has a higher cost performance.
Gyratory sifter can be made 1~5 layers of screen with 2~6 discharge ports. The Max. screen surface width we can make is 2000mm, and the Max. screen length is 3600mm~4000mm. The commonly used sizes are 1500*3600mm, 1800*3600mm, 2000*3600mm & 2000*4000mm etc. We can also customize the special size according to the needs of customers.
What is the screening capacity of AF model gyratory sifter for silica sand? Well, this depends on the requirements for screening accuracy, mesh sizes, particle size distribution, dust content, water content etc. The gyratory sifter is not effective for wet or high water content quartz sand. Take 1800*3600mm 4-layer (20 mesh, 40 mesh, 70 mesh & 120 mesh) for an example. If the sand is dry, and fine dust is not too big, this size can sift about 5~7 tons/hour, accuracy 90%.
